The following definitions apply to the General Terms of Use set out below and govern the luggage storage service offered by “PARKYOURLUGGAGE” and used by “users” of its platform.

“PARKYOURLUGGAGE” is owned by HOSTEX.GR OE, Vat N:800909938, Tax Office A’ Athens, GCR(G.E.MI.): 144708303000 and operates as a luggage storage service on the parkyourluggage.com website

“Partner” A Partner is a user of the Platform who provides, through the parkyourluggage.com website, a luggage storage facility following a payment made by the visitor on the Platform.

“Guest” is the Platform User who requests the luggage storage service via the parkyourluggage.com website.

“User” is the partner or guest who, when using the website, accepts these terms and conditions and the general conditions of use. Users are solely responsible for the effective implementation of luggage storage.

“Service” is the service provided by ParkyourLuggage to a user through the website and relates to the storage of luggage in storage facilities.

“Storage” is the service provided by the partner for the collected luggage.

“Online Booking” is the system by which PARKYOURLUGGAGE provides users with access to the luggage storage reservation service and related payments.

“Payment” is the price paid by the Guest, using the PARKYOURLUGGAGE platform, which is determined by the quantity of luggage and the duration of storage, excluding booking fees.

“Account Suspension” is a measure whereby if it is established that a User has violated any provision of these terms and conditions, their account is suspended.

“Prohibited Items” a reference to any goods or materials whose storage is prohibited by any law, rule or regulation, in accordance with the term “Prohibited Items” herein.

SERVICE
The service provided by PARKYOURLUGGAGE is the contact through the platform with all users who offer or request luggage storage service, as well as the provision of this service with online reservations and payment management.

USE OF THE SERVICE
In order to register and use the online service, each user may optionally create an account, providing the information necessary for the proper functioning of the service.

PARKYOURLUGGAGE is not responsible in case of false or incorrect information provided by users.

STORAGE
The storage service involves the collection of the Guest’s luggage from the Partner, its storage in the space reserved by the Guest for the dates and times booked on the Parkyourluggage.com website and then, at the end of the booking period, the delivery of the luggage by the Partner back to the Guest.

STORAGE ITEMS
Storage items may be baggage and/or parcels containing goods or items for which there is no legal prohibition. The Partner assumes all responsibility for the suitability of the storage. The Guest is solely responsible for compliance with the legal requirements of the items entrusted to PARKYOURLUGGAGE for the Service.

PROHIBITED ITEMS
It is not permitted to store items that are prohibited or considered dangerous according to national legislation or whose packaging may be harmful to humans, the environment or other stored luggage.

PARKYOURLUGGAGE also does not accept the following items:

  1. Money (banknotes, coins, credit cards and cheques, etc.),
  2. Material that could be defined as pornographic or obscene or that offends sexual dignity,
  3. Weapons or firearms and any material of their manufacture,
  4. Software containing high-value information,
  5. Smart electronic devices (including but not limited to iPhone, iPad, Tablet, PC, smartphones, Laptops, etc.)
  6. Drugs or psychotropic substances,
  7. Artwork,
  8. Antiques,
  9. Jewellery and valuables (gold and silver in any form) and precious stones,
  10. Documents, public or private investment offerings, revenue vouchers, food and fuel vouchers, etc.
  11. Plants and alive or dead animals,
  12. Degrees/certificates/any official public or private document containing sensitive information
  13. Any flammable object

LIMITS OF LIABILITY
You should carefully read the liability limits of these terms and conditions before making a reservation so that you are aware of them.

The Partner is released from any claim regarding valuables ultimately included in the baggage. In addition, the Partner is in no way responsible for the shipping costs of the baggage.

I. The company does not guarantee to pay any amount as compensation for loss or damage to your property.

II. If there is a suspicion or allegation of theft or criminal damage or illegal activity of any nature, contact the police and the relevant authorities.

III. The company will not be responsible in the event that you engage in any fraudulent or illegal activity.

IV. You must cooperate fully with all investigations and requests made by the Company in the performance of its investigations and obligations.

V. The Company provides no warranty or insurance in the event of theft, loss, damage or destruction of your luggage.

VI. The Company shall not be responsible for any damage that may be caused by the Guest against the Partner.

VII.   The company shall not be responsible for the contents of the Guests’ luggage, and for the storage of such luggage at the Partner’s premises.

VIII.  The company shall not be responsible if the Partner’s premises are not covered by an insurance policy in the event of a risk occurring.

IX. The Company shall not be responsible for any risks that occur but are excluded from the insurance policy taken out by the Partner for its premises.

X. The Company accepts no responsibility for damage to stored items or premises by third parties.

XI. The Company shall not be responsible for any damage caused by false declaration of data by the Guest or the Partner during the pre-contractual stage (which involves accepting the terms and conditions and privacy policy of the parkyourluggage.com website to allow the use of the platform to request or offer the luggage storage service), as in this case the Company reserves the right to take legal action against the user who declared false data during the pre-contractual stage or who violated the terms and conditions of the platform), as in this case the Company reserves the right to take legal action against the user who declared false data during the pre-contractual stage or who violated the terms and conditions of the platform.

XII.   The company shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of theft or misuse of personal data or identity.

DELIVERY, STORAGE AND RECEIPT OF BAGGAGE
Upon pickup by the Partner, the baggage is stored at a cost per day and is delivered exclusively to the person who delivered the baggage in the first place and carries the legal proof of reservation. Any shipping costs of the luggage shall be borne by the Guest.

REFUND POLICY
No refund is provided in the event of cancellation of the Guest’s reservation.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS OF USE
Use of the website is subject to acceptance of these Terms of Use. In order to use the services of the platform, users must tick the box “I accept the general terms of use” when creating their Booking.

Only acceptance of the Terms allows users to complete the services offered by the Website. Acceptance of these terms is integral and indivisible: therefore, users cannot choose to apply only some of the terms or express objections to them.

By accepting the General Terms of Use, the user also accepts the “Processing of users’ personal data” within the meaning of the privacy policy.

For anything not expressly stated, reference should be made to the legal provisions under Greek law.
